Drop In Workshop for Experienced Improvisers with Alyssa Tomasella
Made for improvisers with intermediate to advanced experience, this workshop will give you the reps and coaching opportunities you need in order to hone your improv skills. Every other Saturday evening, this one-hour drop in workshop will give you an opportunity to get stage time with some guidance and coaching. Every other week, join our experienced improv teachers from 412improv, to get valuable feedback and gain new skills. Also, It’s a great way to sample what we will teach in our intermediate and advanced classes.
Your instructor is Alyssa Tomasella. Alyssa fell in love with and started performing improvisational comedy over a decade ago in Rochester, NY. Since then she has studied the art of improv and sketch comedy from various theaters, including the Groundlings and Second City. She has performed on several longform and shortform teams, in various venues and festivals. She has produced, performed in and hosted dozens of shows. Alyssa started teaching improv in the Rochester area in 2014, and continued teaching classes and workshops, and coaching several improv teams in Pittsburgh since 2019. Her pedagogy reflects her love of and passion for improvisational theater and how it can change people's lives both on and off stage.

- This class is for students 18 and older.
- Try to arrive five minutes before the start time.
- Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Wear closed toed shoes. Sneakers are recommended.
